Introduction: In Dayanand Science College, the department of chemistry runs M.sc. Organic chemistry from 1992. The main objective of the cell is to prepare candidates for appearing in SET–NET examination, so that Àsufficient number of candidates becomes available for selection of Lecturers in the University system and in the research.From the academic year 2011-12 department of chemistry runs NET/SET coaching classes for M.Sc. Students. The following is the committee formed for NET/SET coaching under the chairmanship of head of the department.

- “Guidance workshop on SET/NET Paper-I”
Dayanand Science College, Latur organized ” Guidance Workshop on SET/NET Paper-I” on 10th Feb., 2024. The resource person for this workshop was Prof. Brijmohan Dayma, Dayanand College of commerce, Latur. The main objective of this workshop is to guide NET/ SET aspirants in their subjects and to provide an understanding about the methods for attempting paper-I.
